Our Story

From the beginning

Growing up on a prosperous sugar cane farm in the heart of St. Martinville gave me the opportunity to learn responsibility and a good work ethic at an early age. A true Rajun Cajun, I attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (back then USL) and was proud to serve my country in the United States Army. I have spent my entire adult life working as an entrepreneur in Lafayette. I am proud to be from Acadiana – proud to be a part of a wonderful community full of rich culture and hard-working, down-to-earth people. I have instilled this sense of pride and appreciation of our heritage into my children, who help in managing Premier Staffing.

It is my passion to help the people in our area – to help local businesses flourish, to help the people of our area find good jobs that provide for their families and to stimulate our local economy.

What sets Premier Staffing apart from the larger, franchised agencies is Personalized Service. Our staff is dedicated to go beyond what’s expected to give you service like no other. We are always available-365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Our office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, but a staff member is always on call during non-business hours and will personally answer your call. Premier Staffing, Inc. works hand in hand with you to develop innovative administrative solutions to suit your individual business or career needs. We take the time to get to know our customers and our candidates so that when we make a match, it is the best match possible for all involved. We focus on quality more than quantity.

Our Offerings

Premier Staffing, Inc. also offers employee leasing services. As a PEO, we partner with businesses and administer their payroll, offer a comprehensive benefit package to all of their full-time employees and handle all of the insurance and tax liability reporting. It’s like having your own HR department for a small fee.

Our staff’s combined HR experience of over 100 years makes us a great resource for employers who have questions about employment laws, business practices and current market trends. We also are a great resource to job seekers who need career guidance, resume and interviewing tips and positive lifestyle changes. We are available to answer questions, and if we don’t know the answer, we will do our best to find it for you.
